In simple terms

We collect only the information reasonably needed to communicate with you, deliver agreed services, operate our business and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is issued by Grow 360 Consultancy ("Grow 360", "we", "us" or "our"). It applies when you visit grow360.biz, contact us by email or WhatsApp, request a quotation, become a client, use our services, or otherwise interact with us.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable Malaysian law, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 [Act 709] as amended from time to time ("PDPA"). Depending on the activity, Grow 360 may act as a data controller for our own business purposes or as a data processor handling information on a client's instructions.

Personal data we may collect

The information we collect depends on your relationship with us and the services requested. It may include:

  • Identity and contact information: name, job title, company name, business registration details, address, email address and telephone number.
  • Business and service information: business descriptions, branding, product or service information, website content, social media profiles, domain information and service requirements.
  • Account and access information: platform usernames, account identifiers, administrative invitations, verification information and access permissions required to perform agreed work. We encourage role-based invitations instead of sharing passwords whenever a platform supports them.
  • Communications: enquiries, instructions, approvals, feedback and messages exchanged through email, WhatsApp, telephone, meetings or other channels.
  • Transaction information: quotations, contracts, invoices, payment status and accounting records. We do not intentionally store complete payment-card details.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, access time, website logs and cookie information.
  • Client-controlled data: personal data contained in websites, hosting accounts, email systems, databases, social platforms or files that a client asks us to manage or support.

Please do not send sensitive personal data, passwords or identity documents through ordinary email or WhatsApp unless we specifically request them and an appropriate method has been agreed.

Required and optional information

Providing personal data is generally voluntary. However, certain information is necessary for us to verify ownership, prepare an agreement, open or recover an account, deliver services, issue invoices or provide support. If required information is not supplied, we may be unable to provide the relevant service.

Data handled for our clients

When Grow 360 hosts, maintains or supports a client's website, email, database, social account or other system, we may process personal data on that client's documented instructions. In those circumstances, the client is generally responsible for determining why and how the data is used, giving appropriate notices, obtaining necessary consent and responding to requests from its own customers or users.

We use client-controlled data only to provide the agreed service, maintain security, comply with law and carry out other documented instructions from the client.

Who we may disclose data to

Where reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, we may disclose relevant information to:

We do not sell or rent personal data. Our service providers and partners may have their own privacy notices, particularly when you open or use an account directly with them.

Cross-border processing

Some technology, hosting, cloud, domain, social media and communications providers may process information outside Malaysia. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and apply safeguards or other permitted transfer mechanisms required by applicable law.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate essential functions, remember preferences, protect security and understand website performance. Necessary cookies may be placed because they are required for the website to work.

If analytics or marketing technologies are enabled, we will provide appropriate information and choices where required. You may also control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may affect website functionality.

Security and retention

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and service. These may include access controls, role-based permissions, authentication, backups, software updates, secure hosting configurations, confidentiality obligations and restricted access.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your devices, account credentials and access granted to your own personnel.

How long we keep information

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide services, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of data, contractual requirements, platform rules and applicable law. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it.

Data incidents

If we become aware of a personal data breach, we will assess it, take reasonable containment and remediation measures, and notify the relevant authority and affected individuals where required by applicable law.

Your rights and choices

Subject to the PDPA, applicable exceptions and verification of your identity, you may have the right to:

  • ask whether we process personal data about you and request access to it;
  • request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or outdated data;
  • withdraw consent previously given, where processing depends on consent;
  • ask us to stop or limit processing that may cause damage or distress;
  • object to or opt out of direct marketing;

  • raise a concern with us or lodge a complaint with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Commissioner.

We may ask for information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. A lawful fee may apply to certain access requests, and some requests may be restricted where permitted by law or where we process the information solely on behalf of a client.

We do not currently use personal data to make decisions producing significant legal or similar effects solely through automated processing.

Children's personal data

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child without appropriate authority or consent. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us improperly, please contact us.
